after market exhaust

Hi, guys I am new to dirt bikes and this forum.

I bought my 6yr old son a '09 pw50, and wanted to find a way to get more bottom and top end out of the bike. My son is about 50lbs and the bike doesnt have enough bottom end for hills.

I was wondering if an after market exhaust like the FMF gold fatty pipe and silencer would help improve power for him. FMF advertises that if will improve both bottom and top end power.

any help would be appreciated.

Oh yea, pipe would help great, w/ a jet job. or....Change the front sproket up a notch and it will give it more bottom end pulling power, just lose a lil on top end

will I loose top end power if I change the exhaust?

no you won't loose top end, but will not gain much top end either, pipe mainly increses bottom end power. I meant you would lose top end if you geared it lower.
