Im currently running my sons bike on reduced throttle due to the fact he wants to 'keep it pinned'. I noticed the other week that the bike was becoming more smokey but then it cleared. Went for a blast yesterday and the bike would lose all power after a long run and stop. The bike would start first kick very soon after stopping, run and repeatedly stop if run on 3/4 throttle. javascript:add(%22%20???%22) Felt like fuel starvation to me but Ive never heard anyone experience this problem before on this Forum and I was surprised to be able to start the bike again. The bike was smokey (like before) and cleared again. Bike 'smelt' very hot to me but i might have been looking for problems. Im wondering whether Im looking at a possible seizing issue - ie smokey running / runs clear, appears very hot BUT I would not expect to be able to start the bike so easily afterwards. Perhaps I should fully open up the throttle to allow the bike to run freely. Ive held off stripping the bike down in the hope of getting a steer from you guys first on what to look for.

Take a look at the reeds, a lot of times the brasslike screws (3) that hole the pedals on come unloose, their fore they are not opening and closing just staying open.
