My 8 year old just upgraded from a PW50 to a PW80. We found a really nice, clean bike that we picked up yesterday. He was excited to get home and try it out. He was completely discouraged. He put it on the ground like 3 times. I think the reason is he is not quite tall enough for it. My son is about 50" tall. When he sits on the bike he has to "tip toe" the ground. On his PW50, his knees were into the handlebars. I'm trying to figure out if I could lower the PW80 just a bit to make it easier to reach the ground? Is there a rear shock adjustment that I could do?
The power is way different on the 80 vs. the 50. I think that has him a bit freaked out to. He's not used to a "blippy" throttle. I just had him put the bike in 2nd gear and ride it that way.
Any advice?

Well, we have a handlebar riser kit for the PW50 that increases the height by like 3" and you could always mod out the 50 with a 60cc big bore kit to get more power out of your PW50. We don't have anything to lower the PW80 available, sorry.
