Hi all.
Bought an old -81 non runner. Overhauled, new cyl, piston, carb, crank. Runs great. BUT. I have quite a nasty noise from the transmission. I know for sure it comes from the transmission since the noise disappeared when I removed the clutch assembly. The noise is most noticable just above idle. It's like a rattling screeching noise.
Any ideas anyone?
I can't find any big plays or other strange things in it. Is it sensitive to oil quality? I'm using a a 10w-40 semi-syntethic car oil in the transmission.
