my sons 2003 pw50 not running right. It is acting like switch is in start position and wont move. When i turn it to run it will stall out unless on the throttle. I cleaned carb and took out restrictor plate. He likes to ride it in the mud, bike is very muddy. Could the water have anything to do with it? Also while running on the stand i noticed a little oil spraying out of exhaust. There may be carbon build up. Any ideas?

i tested compression on it and was 130psi. i found the secondary throttle cable for the oil pump was stuck. Seems to be running fine now other than when it is on the stand and i rev it up its like there is a rev limiter there and if i hold it wide open it stalls right out. Is this normal?

Probably totally clogged up in exhaust system and spark arrestor from carbon build-up.
