Hey guys I am new to this site and pws in general. We purchased an 03 PW 50 for my son at a great deal. I replaced the front forks because the previous owner hit something. Any way I am having a bit of trouble starting the bike when its cold out. We had the carb cleaned but I don't really know how well it was done. We did have to take out the plug pour a bit of gas in it to get it hot then put it back in and it helped. Kinda crazy thing to be doing. the plug is new and we have tried a different one for it. though we have not tried a different brand of plug. Any ideas?
Second question. I took out the exhaust washer which woke the bike up a lot. I also took out the baffle to clean it I like the sound without the baffle in but it is a bit much for my son. If I cut the long end off leaving only the tip will it cut the noise but not hurt the power? Again I am new to these little things so my questions may seem crazy.
