I just did a top end rebuild on my sons pw50...new carb, had it tuned perfectly, runs amazing cold. We just took it out to try and after about 15-20 minutes it started to lose power and then wouldn't stay running.
Any ideas?

Try bleeding the fuel line, I had an air lock in the carb. Seemed to fix it. Also if you are riding it to "test" it as I did, my body weight (175lbs) made the bike flex and messed with the throttle cable, and that seemed to hinder its performance by not keeping the cartridge (jet)(it would either rev wildly OR choke out) seated correctly in the carb. I do not ride it anymore now that junior is "seasoned" lol...it runs like a top.

ive had the same issue with my daughters pw50.bought it used for christmas.runs great cold but, after about 30 mins of riding it seems to lose power to get her going.i have to take the throttle screw out to get extra poweer and then when she gets going its way too fast .not bogging out or anything more like the clutch isnt hooking up.i may try to rebuild the clutch this weekend.
