Hey Guys, Any tricks for removing an obstinate rotor assembly? Nut and washer came off easy but my cheep puller cannot get it off the taper on the crank. I tried warming the hub without success and now I'm soaking it with penetrating oil. I'm trying to get at the source coil as it is testing open. Thanks, Hugh

Ok, I found out the answer by myself: Don't use a 3 jaw puller because you can distort the rotor which is a $200 part. Instead, by a $20 special tool. Now the next question is what is the proper resistance of the source coil. The shop manual (which did not mention the special tool for the rotor) says 193 to 235 ohms. I'm reading 220 Kohms. So I think the coil is open but it looks in good condition. Anyone run into an open coil that looks good? Thanks, Hugh
