I bought my daughter a pw50, it had some issues to begin with, leaky carb, bad condition throttle cable and wouldn't just idle, always wanted to go.
So I rebuilt the carb, but it still leaked, and then discovered a new carb was basically just as much as the rebuild kit.
So, I ended up buying a new carb, new throttle cable and a 60cc engine kit (the old cylinder was in terrible shape).
The carb stopped leaking but the bike still won't just idle, it's like its always in gear and just wants to go.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, i have the on/run/off switch unplugged, so it will start in both on and run mode, and when i put it to off it does turn off so the switch seems to be working properly, i know some people have had this issue and it was switch related, but my switch does seem to be working as its meant to.
Thanks a lot

The PW50 is an automatic and always in gear. The high gear allows it to sit without moving unless enogh gas is given to get it going. If it's up on the kickstand and the rear wheel is moving, that's normal. Unless it's reving really high, then you need to adjust the idle screw on the carb(the one with the spring). But the rear wheel should move when idling and on the kickstand. Once you plop it off the kickstand, it should just sit there.

Hey mate, the pw revs like crazy. No amount of adjusting the idle screw makes any difference.
It's a brand new carb but is doing the same as the old, so it's not the carb.
Same goes with the throttle cable.
I'm lost on this one...

A lot of change and upgrades for the 1 problem, really need to go step by step before 60cc upgrade, its been a while, was the problem resolved?
My guess is the throttle return stop or adjuster, or a weird throttle cable problem.
