Have you tried calling them? I have had success talking to them on the phone, not so much in email....just a thought.

It was pretty easy all together. The springs are the correct springs for the pegs you get, however slight modification must be made on the right side of the bike at the bracket the pin runs through to accomodate the round tail of the spring. Simply drill a hole in the aft portion of the top plate to match the left side, the use a file to elongate it. The stock pegs are hollow so they take the same spring on each side unlike the aftermarkets which have side specific springs.
For ease of alignment of the peg with the holes in the bracket: get the peg close and then pass a small phillips screwdriver through the bracket and peg to align everything and give you some wiggle leverage, then follow the screwdriver with supplied pin as you slide the screwdriver out.
Hope this helps and yes it is worth the minimal fabrication/modification as your little throttle twister will have solid footing.

had the very same problem. But got it to work with a little persuation and help from my niegbor. The hook slid over the side and the spring relaxed after the pin was in. The other side worked fine. Looking back on it I wish I would have drilled a hole like natdoc said. but man they are worth the effort.
