how old is my pw50 engine and frame number are 3pt-017057 please

The 10th digit will be the year, however you should have a 17 digit number on the frame just forward of the gas tank. Not sure why you do not have 17 digits!

not all pw have the 17 digit code its a pre 1990 model

i only have an engine serial number on my pw50 and it is 44v-005889
i have searched every were to find what year the bike is,but no one can help
