just bought 2 (unsure of year) PW50 for my daughters.
Looking for the most informative service manual to download or order. Any input on this would be most appreciated. I just want to stay on top of these little bikes as they seem very tempermental.

Cyclepedia.com doesn't have the PW50. The Haynes manual is fairly good, but leaves out a lot of important information. The Clymer manual is the best paper manual IMO.
You can download a locked PDF copy of the Yamaha owner's service manual, which is good for some detail, but not enough to work on it much. Then, you can google for "PDF unlocker" and a website will come up that allows you to unlock and then print the pdf. That is what I did for the Yami manual. I then hole punched it and stuck it in a 3 ring binder. It was enough the other day when I needed to remove the wheels to go get new tires, but it's not sufficient for helping you out trackside, or going very deep in it. It always ends in, "See your Yamaha service department for....."
Hope your daughters enjoy their bikes! I just bought a really nice 1982 that I'm going to restore to original for my almost 2 yr old daughter.
